Watford Palace Theatre

Watford Palace Theatre was the setting for a special family day featuring stories on Sikh bravery. 'Sardari: Stories of Courage' featured workshops for adults and kids, a theatre production and a screening of a film about the Battle of Saragarhi.

Also on display were original antique Sikh weaponry and armour.

UKPHA were also on hand with details of what promises to be the Sikh cultural event of the year the 'Empire of the Sikhs' exhibition! Our gorgeous flyers featuring the imposing portrait of Maharaja Sher Singh grabbed the attention as did our collection of Sikh history books published by Kashi House.

And our one hundred year old 3D technology - the incredible stereoscopic viewer - possibly stole the day as families gathered round to see original images of Sikhs from times gone by and be truly wowed.

The year's exhibition promises to also be a wow, and we strongly advise that you don't wait until the last few weeks to attend as it's going to be a busy summer!
